The conferences are held on Thursdays. The school staff and teachers govern the school together via these conferences. Decisions are reached by consensus or with a simple majority. The afternoon starts with the school management conference at 2.30 p.m. followed by the pedagogic and administrative conference starting at 4.15 p.m. After an evening break the conferences for the individual school levels begin.

For complaints

Conflicts trigger changes. They often reveal a deplorable situation and lead to partings. However, they sometimes also improve the quality of the school. The Rudolf Steiner School Basel has compiled a conflict guideline. It maps out the procedure to be followed if teachers and parents have a conflict of opinions. The aim is to transform conflicts into opportunities which trigger changes for the better. In case of a conflict please contact beschwerdestelle(at)
